Presently the HPSSSB JOA Exam Syllabus consists of two different parts. At first, HPSSSB JOA Syllabus consists of a total of 170 objective type multiple choice questions only. Secondly, the whole exam syllabus has a preset marking scheme. Every question has a ½ mark for the right answer. Though the skill test is qualifying in nature. Firstly the subject-related part has questions from Computer Science / Computer Application / Information Technology / IT Enable Sectors ITES / Information Practices (IP) etc. Whereas the second part of the question paper has questions from General Knowledge including Himachal Pradesh GK, Current affairs, General Science, Logic and reasoning, Social science, General English, and General Hindi.
