The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi (Himachal Pradesh) invites Online Applications for faculty positions at the level of Assistant Professor Grade-I& Grade-II and Associate Professor in the School of Biosciences and Bioengineering (SBB). Applicants from both experimental and theoretical/computational bioengineering are encouraged to apply. In particular, we are interested in candidates with quest for high quality teaching and proven research in the areas listed below:-

Applicants should have a passion for teaching, should be exceptionally motivated, and should have an established record of high-quality research. We strongly encourage applications from female candidates and reserved candidates. Candidates with extraordinary achievements in other related areas of Biosciences and bioengineering are also encouraged to apply. The candidates will assist in growing IIT Mandi’s Biosciences and Bioengineering program in innovative research areas. IIT Mandi promotes an interdisciplinary culture and Faculty members can collaborate with faculty in other areas of engineering, basic sciences and Humanities and social sciences. Also, with its location in the Himalayas, IIT Mandi provides unique opportunities for research on socially-relevant technologies for the Himalayan region. A Ph.D. degree is necessary for a faculty position at IIT Mandi. Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis recently or are close to completing their Ph.D. degree may also apply for the post of Assistant Professor Grade-II.
