Qualification | • First class with not less than 60% aggregate (or) not less than 6.5 CGPI on a 10-point scale in B.E. / B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering. • First class with not less than 60% aggregate (or) not less than 6.5 CGPI on a 10-point scale in M.E. / M.Tech. Degree with specializations of Electronics and communication or related fields. • The candidate having expertise in Signal processing Image processing, remote sensing and good working knowledge of Matlab and Python programming will be preferred. • The candidate must have obtained M.E./M.Tech through GATE/CSIR-UGC NET or any other National Exam Qualification conducted by Central Govt, departments or institutes such as DST, DBT,DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR. Emoluments | Rs. 31,000/- PM (consolidated) plus HRA as per Institute norms (subject to the release of funds by the ISRO). |
Nature of appointment | The position is purely on contract basis with the initial appointment for a period of one year from the date of joining, extendable upto the project duration subject to the satisfactory performance of the individual and provisions under the project |

Age Limit | Maximum age limit for JRF is 35 years as on last date of receipt of applications. Upper age limit will be relaxed up to 5 years for reserved category candidates (SC/ST/Persons with Disability (PwD)) and 3 years for OBC – Non-creamy layer candidates. |
