Recruitment of Food Commission Chairperson in HP State – 2021

Applications are invited to fill up one post of Chairperson in the State Food Commission, Himachal Pradesh from the candidates who must possess the following qualifications :-

1. Who are or have been member of the All India Services or any other Civil Services of the Union or State or holding a civil post under the Union or State having knowledge and experience in the matters relating to food security, nutrition, Health or any allied field; or of eminence in public life with wide knowledge and experience in Agriculture, Law, Human Rights, Social Service, Management, Nutrition, Health, Food Policy or Public
   Administration; or Who have a proven record of work relating to the improvement of the food and nutrition
   rights of the poor.

2. The Chairperson so appointed shall hold office for a term of five years or up to the age of sixty five years, whichever is earlier. The other terms and conditions shall be governed under the National Food Security Act, 2013 and the Himachal Pradesh Food Security Rules, 2019. The applications along with complete Bio-Data must reach in the office of the Principal Secretary (Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh, Room No. A221, Armsdale Building, Himachal Pradesh Secretariat, Shimla 171002, latest by 22-01-2022 (5:00 P.M.). Applications received after due date shall not be entertained and shall stand rejected automatically.
