QUALIFICATIONS:

1. For the post at Sr.No.1 to 6 i.e. Director of Research, Director Extension Education, and Deans:

  • Ph.D. degree or its equivalent in Horticulture/Forestry or in their allied sciences.
  • 10 years of teaching/research experience in a relevant field out of which at least 5 years experience should be as a professor or equivalent rank.
  • A Significant contribution and accomplishment in the field of teaching/research/extension education as evidenced by publications/ articles in a journal of repute.

Note: In case a suitable candidate with a Ph.D. degree as specified at Sr.No.1 is not available in the case of a Dean for the College of Forestry, then a candidate having M.Sc. Forestry/M.Sc. with AIFC would also be eligible.

2. In addition to above qualifications at Sr.No.01 above, the Director of Research should have the ability to organize, supervise and co-ordincte research in the field of Horticulture, Forestry, and Allied Sciences.

3. In addition to the qualifications prescribed at Sr.No. O1 above, The Director of Extension Education should also fulfill the following conditions:

  • 10 years of teaching/research/extension education experience in a relevant field out of which at least 5 years experience should be as professor or equivalent rank.
  • A significant contribution or accomplishment in the f eldpf research/education/extension education as evidenced bý publications.
  • Ability to organize, supervise and co-ordinate extension education activities in the field of Horticulture, Forestry and Allied Sciences.
  • He should preferably be conversant with the conditiors of Horticulture and Silvi-horticulture practices of Himachal Pradesh.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS/OTHER CONDITIONS:

  1. The application fee for the above mentioned post (s) is Rs.2,E00.00 (Rs. Two thousand five
    hundred only)
  2. The candidates who have already applied in response to this office Advt.No.01/2021 dated 09.02.2021 need not to apply again., However. in case they desire to add any qualification/achievement in their application form they are free to do so. (NOTE: The application form on cash payment will not be solc by the Recruitment Branch.)
  3. The application fee once paid will not be refunded.
  4. These posts will be filled up on tenurial basis for a period of five years or till superannuation, whichever is earlier. The age of superannuation in this university is 60 years.
  5. The candidate selected shall have to execute a contract with the University i.e.Dr. YSP UHF as per rules of the University.
  6. Evaluation of a candidate for these posts will be done in accordance with the Scorecard/ Application form framed and notifiec by the University, vide Notification No.UHF.Regr.Rectt.2-02/2013-32693-728 dated 28.12.2013 which is uploaded on the university website http://www.yspuniversity.ac.in. For the purpose of awarding marks as per criteria prescrised in the Scorecard except presentation and interview of a candidate, the last aate of receipt of applications will be reckoned and no marks for the achievernent(s) gained, during the
    intervening period i.e. from the last date of receip” of applications and the date of interview will be given.
  7. The applicant must be a Citizen of India.
  8. A candidate applying for more than one post should send separate application form for each post alongwith prescribed applicatior fee.
  9. The candidates applying for these posts must have minimum two years service remaining_for retirement on superanuation on the last date of receipt of applications. This condition will be applicable to fresh applicants only.
  10. Applicants already in service should send their application forms through proper channel, besides advance copy to this University alongwith prescribed fee which should reach in this University upto the last date of receipt of application.
  11. Number of post(s) is/are tentative and may increase or decrease from fime to time for different categories of post
  12. The date determining eligibility of all candidates in respect of essential qualification(s) and experience, if any, shall be the prescribed last date for receipt of applications i.e, 10.03.2021 for candidates from Non-Tribal Areas and 25.03.2021 for candidates from tribal area/abroad
