The government of Uttarakhand has formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the ropeway construction firm Poma Group in London.
This agreement, involving an investment of Rs 2,000 crore, is in line with the upcoming December Global Investors Summit.
The MoU was endorsed on behalf of the Uttarakhand government by the Secretary of Industries, Vinay Shankar Pandey.
A government communique highlighted Poma Group's previous engagements in Uttarakhand.
At present, Poma Ropeway is offering technical assistance for the ropeway projects connecting Dehradun to Mussoorie and another leading to Yamunotri, as per the statement.
