- India and Tanzania has signed 15 agreements covering different areas of cooperation.
- The presidential visit from Tanzania to India took place after a span of more than eight years.
- “One of the objectives of this visit is precisely to enhance the trade volumes, to speak to the Indian business community here, to speak to the Indian government to see what barriers exist, what challenges exist that impede the expansion of trade.
- And we believe that we can get to USD 10 billion bilateral trade in the next three years,” said Tanzanian Foreign Minister January Yusuf Makamba.
