Syllabus of the post of Naib Tehsildar Himachal Pradesh for 2022 recruitment
Naib Tehsildar Syllabus for Competitive Objective Type Screening Test (prelims)
Paper of two hours duration consisting of 120 marks (General Knowledge) (Objective type) in both English and
Hindi language.

Note: There will be a penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answer marked by a candidate in the objective type question papers.
a. There are four alternatives for the answers to every question. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one-fourth (0.25) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty.
b. If a candidate gives more than one answer, it will be treated as a wrong answer even if one of the given answers happens to be correct and there will be the same penalty as above for that question.
c. If a question is left blank i.e. no answer is given by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.
There will be the following subjects for the (Main) competitive examination for direct recruitment to the post of Naib Tehsildar, Class-II (Gazetted) candidates. the question papers will be in both languages i.e. Hindi and English except language paper(s).

shall be treated as not to have qualified for the said examination. The candidates, who will qualify for the above-mentioned main written examination on the basis of merit, shall be called for Viva-voce Test/personal
interview.
The total number of candidates to be called for Viva-Voce on the basis of written examination shall be
three times the total number of posts advertised. The marks obtained by the candidates in the main written
examination as well as in the viva-voce would determine their final merit.
