Exam Syllabus of Junior Superintendent IIT Mandi
Syllabus for Written Test (to be held on 15.01.2022):-
- Behavioral, attitude & psychometric test
- Language competency – grammar, comprehension etc.
- Aptitude test: quantitative, logical reasoning and verbal ability
- Computer proficiency: knowledge of Office (word processor, work sheets and presentations), internet and email communication
- General knowledge and current affairs: general knowledge about India/world such as politics, economics, education, geography, history, sports etc. and current affairs
- Offce procedures and service matters: basic knowledge of services rules and service matters, RTI Act,GFRs, NPS, Purchase Rules and financial matters etc
Scheme for written test:-
- Time: 2 hrs 30 minutes
- No. of questions: 100 (MCQ/one word answer/fill in the blank)
- Total marks : 100
- Negative marking: 1/4th of the marks assigned to questions
Scheme for skill/trade test:-
The written test shall be followed by skill / trade test. The paper for skill/ trade test shall be evaluated for the candidates making into merit i.e. five times number of the category wise advertised posts.
- Test: Qualifying in nature
- Result: pass/fail
- Time: 30 minutes immediately after written test
