- The work of compilation and preservation of ancient manuscripts related to humanities, grammar, science, religion, culture, spirituality etc. is being done in Shrutirtha Oriental Vidyapeeth of Shankheshwar in Gujarat, in which the cost is estimated to be more than Rs.100 crore.
- It will be the largest manuscript library in the world.
- More than 25,000 manuscripts are available in the Vidyapeeth and so far more than 10 thousand manuscripts have been preserved and revised. More than one lakh books are available in the Manuscript Library in the fields of Humanities, Science, Religion, Spirituality etc.
- Among the manuscripts which are being modified and preserved in the library, work is going on to preserve the manuscripts by rewriting the manuscripts using hand-made ink on the Sanganer paper of Jaipur and the copper plate of Odisha, prepared in ancient style.
