After the success of the Co-WIN platform, the central government launched this portal for the vaccination of pregnant women.
The pilot phase of this program launched in two districts of each state and union territory.
According to media reports, this platform will be used to register and vaccinate pregnant women, record deliveries, register newborns, and give post-birth vaccine doses and other vaccination programs.
Immunization cards will be created for pregnant women and children under Abha ID (Ayushman Bharat health account) and all states and districts can access a common database to track beneficiaries and get vaccinated.
