Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has unveiled a strategic partnership with Norway's BankID BankAxept, the country's national payment and electronic identity system, intending to bolster the European nation's financial infrastructure.
This collaboration is set to enhance the resilience, security, and accessibility of Norway's crucial financial systems.
BankAxept is Norway's primary payment system, with its cards making up 80% of all card transactions.
Furthermore, BankID serves as the predominant electronic identity verification solution in Norway, with an overwhelming majority - over 90% - of the nation's residents, banks, public entities, and businesses relying on it, as highlighted by TCS.
