- Sanjeev Mantri, executive director of ICICI Lombard, has been appointed as the company’s successor to Bhargav Dasgupta, who resigned as MD & CEO last week.
- Dasgupta resigned down before his 15-year tenure as CEO came to an end in April 2024.
- The new CEO tenure restrictions limit their tenure to a maximum of 15 years.
- Dasgupta will work at the Asian Development Bank. Mantri joined ICICI Lombard in 2015 as an executive director, overseeing retail divisions and channel distribution.
