- Sachin Tendulkar-led India Legends have successfully defended their crown of champions. The Road Safety World series tournament which brings all the former cricketers and legends under one roof has now officially come to a close and Sachin’s men have been invincible throughout.
- Amongst all the high-octane cricket that was played, it was Little Master’s batting prowess that took the world by surprise. Sachin, who retired in 2013 looked in ominous touch bringing back all the memories of his legendary playing days.
- Ishan Jayaratne (51) was the only bright spark in an otherwise ordinary Sri Lanka batting lineup who looked out of their depth against a concentrated India bowling lineup.
- Earlier, India Legends, led by Sachin Tendulkar won the toss and opted to bat first in the  final match of the Road Safety World Series against Sri Lanka Legends in Raipur.
- The Road Safety World Series is a T20 cricket league involving former international cricket players from various countries. It has been set up by Thane Road Traffic Officer and Konkan region head Ravi Gaikwad in association with BCCI. This league is organized every year by the Road Safety World Series organization to raise awareness about road safety.
- Players from India, England, Sri Lanka, West Indies, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and Bangladesh participate in this series. Former India captain Sunil Gavaskar is the commissioner of the series, while Sachin Tendulkar is the brand ambassador. New Zealand Legends has been participating in this series since 2022.
