Putin announces annexation of Ukrainian regions in defiance of international law

Recently Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced the annexation of 4 cities of UkraineDonetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson in Russia.
For this an event was organized in the Kremlin. Putin has acquired these areas by signing in the Kremlin. Putin has also appointed heads of states in these states.
Putin attempted to claim that the referendums reflected the will of “millions” of people, despite reports from the ground suggesting that voting took place essentially – and in some cases, literally – at gunpoint. Western leaders have slammed the polls, saying that they fail to meet internationally recognized standards of free and fair elections.
In one of his toughest anti-American speeches in more than 20 years in power, Putin signalled he was ready to continue what he called a battle for a “greater historical Russia”, slammed the West as neo-colonial and as out to destroy his country, and without evidence accused Washington and its allies of blowing up the Nord Stream gas pipelines.
