- To empower the youth, the Government of Madhya Pradesh has unveiled the Mukhyamantri Seekho-Kamao Yojana with an aim to provide young individuals with the opportunity to learn and master their desired professions while earning a steady income each month.
- For this scheme, natives of Madhya Pradesh in the age group of 18 to 29 years, whose educational qualification is 12th pass students, graduates, postgraduates and diploma holders will be eligible for the scheme.
- A Monthly Stipend is also provided to selected students under Mukhyamantri Seekho Kamao Yojana.
- The following monthly stipend will be provided to selected youths :-
- Rs. 8,000/- per month will be provided to Class 12th Pass.
- Rs. 8,500/- per month will be provided to ITI Pass.
- Rs. 9,000/- per month will be provided to Diploma Holder.
- and Rs, 10,000/- per month will be provided to Graduation Passed and Above.
- More than 703 Skill Training Areas is identified by the Government of Madhya Pradesh.
- 12th pass student will get Rs 8000 per month, ITI pass youth Rs 8500 per month, diploma holders Rs 9000 per month and higher degree holders will get Rs 10,000 per month stipend.
- After learning on the job, either the students will get a job at the place of learning or they will become entrepreneurs. Such students will also get priority in self-employment.
- Registration of establishments willing to teach work to the youth will be started from June 7.
- Registration of youth will start from June 15 and placement market will start from July 15 and from July 31 there will be an online agreement between the state government and the institutions.
