Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated India’s longest rubber dam on the Falgu river in Gaya on Thursday, 8th September 2022.
Keeping in view of the religious beliefs associated with the place, Kumar had proposed the name ‘Gayaji Dam’.
This 411 meter long and 3 meter high rubber dam has been built at a cost of 312 crores.
The rubber dam presents a picturesque site that no one had previously imagined, was a manifestation of the CM’s vision, according to Deputy CM Tejashwi Prasad Yadav.
