- Gross Goods and Services Tax (GST) revenue growth in India dipped to a 27-month low of 10.2% in September, down from roughly 10.8% in the preceding two months.
- However, collections increased by 2.3% over August to Rs 1,62,712 crore. Domestic transaction revenues, including service imports, were 14% more than tax revenue from similar sources in September 2022.
- The gross GST kitty has crossed the Rs 1.60 lakh crore barrier for the fourth time in 2023-24, according to the Finance Ministry.
