- A new elevated expressway is set to be built on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway at a cost of Rs 2,000 Crore. This will be the first double-decker expressway in the country.
- Elevated expressway will be made six lane or eight lane. This elevated expressway will be connected to the proposed Chilla flyover near Mahamaya on the Chilla regulator coming from Delhi side.
- On the elevated expressway, vehicles coming from DND, Chilla, Kalindi Kunj towards Jewar International Airport, Agra and Lucknow will get direct connectivity to Yamuna Expressway.
- Twenty years ago there was only Dadri Surajpur Chhalera (DSC) road connecting Noida to Greater Noida.
- The Noida-Greater Noida Expressway has been made six-lane to connect the two cities which is 24.53 km long and was started in the year 2002. 400 crores were spent to make it.
- The expressway hosted the Commonwealth Games in October 2010 by Delhi-NCR.
