Telangana government (Govt) launched ‘Telangana State Robotics Framework’, a firstofitskind policy in India, to provide a roadmap for the state to create a sustainable robotic ecosystem and be a leading state in the field of robotics.
Telangana state will also launch a Robotics Accelerator for startups so that they will be able to accelerate their business with the required infrastructure, market knowledge, authorisation support, investor links and much more for their venture.
On the occasion, the state also signed MoUs with five organizations including educational institutions, industry associations and incubators.
The new framework has been developed by the Emerging Technologies Wing of the ITE&C Department of Telangana in collaboration with the All India Robotics Association.
The Emerging Technologies Wing was established in the year 2017 by the Government of Telangana. This wing was developed to revolutionize the IT and robotics industry.
Under this it will leverage robotics technology in agriculture, healthcare, industrial automation and consumer robotics, setting up a robo park and a robotics accelerator to provide startups with necessary infrastructure, authorization support, market insights, investor connect and mentorship support will be established.
