- India and Saudi Arabia have formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing cooperation in the energy domain.
- The MoU was inked by RK Singh, India’s Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy and Power, and Abdulaaziz bin Salman Al-Saud, the Energy Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- This collaboration promises to further cement the energy ties between the two nations.
- It is also anticipated to bolster India’s pursuits of transitioning to a low-carbon energy framework and to reconfigure the global energy infrastructure in response to the challenges posed by climate change.
