The results of "Most Popular GI" Awards were declared and Hyderabadi Haleem has come out as the winner.
Piyush Goyal, who is the Minister of Commerce and Industry presented the award to the director of 'Pista House' and the president of 'Hyderabad Haleem Makers Association' MA Majeed.
In the voting process, people from both India and abroad participated and the majority of them voted for Hyderabadi Haleem.
This popular dish has beaten other popular GI dishes such as Rasgulla, Ratlami Sev and Bikaneri Bhujiya.
