Umesh Revankar has been appointed as the leader of the Finance Industry Development Council (FIDC). The managing committee, convening in Mumbai, chose Revankar unanimously for the position.
Currently, he holds the post of executive vice chairman at Shriram Finance. Revankar's journey with the Shriram Group began in 1987 when he joined as an executive trainee.
Over the years, he has climbed the corporate ladder, undertaking various responsibilities and leadership positions within the organization.
A notable highlight of his career is his instrumental role in establishing Shriram Transport Finance Company as the premier commercial vehicle financier in India.
