Cyber security skills program launched by IIT-Kanpur

  • IIT Kanpur’s C3iHub, a Cyber Security Technology Innovation Hub, has launched a ‘Cyber Security Skilling Program’ under the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (NM-ICPS) in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
  • This program, which focuses on models, tools, and techniques for implementing security, seeks to provide students with a greater understanding of the technical fundamentals of cyberspace and cyber problems.
  • It also introduces real-time cyber security approaches and processes.
  • The eight-week Cyber Security Skills Program will be offered online, allowing students from anywhere in the country to enroll. The courses include live classes, online assignments and practical training.
  • Upon completion of this program, students will receive the C3iHub Certificate, which will add credibility to their professional profile. Internship opportunities will also be available to the top 100 students.
