  • The 119 km long access-controlled expressway, built as a six-lane stretch, includes two-lane service roads on either side of the expressway, making it a 10-lane corridor.
  • The project has a cost of Rs 9000 crore, and it is built in two separate phases measuring 61 km between Nidaghatta and Mysore and 58 km between Bengaluru and Nidaghatta.
  • This expressway is expected to cut travel time between Bengaluru and Mysuru by 75 minutes. It used to take roughly three hours to travel between the two cities.
