Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), an esteemed Defence PSU, recently entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), a top aerospace and defense firm from Israel.
The purpose of this collaboration is to cater to India's needs in Short Range Air Defence Systems.
This significant MoU was formalized in Bengaluru. Furthermore, this agreement between BEL and IAI is in line with the Indian Government's initiatives for 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' (Self-Sufficient India) and the 'Make in India' movement.
