- Asmita Dorjee, Senior Instructor of Tata Steel Adventure Foundation (TSAF) has created history. She has made this record by climbing the world’s eighth highest mountain ‘Manaslu’ in Nepal.
- She has scaled a height of 8163 meters without oxygen supplement. She is a resident of Sonari Kadma Link Road in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. The Manaslu Summit was organized by the Government of Nepal.
- Just four hours before Asmita Dorjee, Himachal’s Baljit Kaur completed this summit without oxygen.
- It is known that Asmita had earlier gone on expeditions like Mount Everest without oxygen supplementation, but she could not complete the Everest Summit.
