- Between September 2022 and September 2023, the Army finalized the fourth phase of Emergency Procurements (EP), successfully concluding over 70 projects at a cost nearing Rs 11,000 crore.
- In a similar vein, the Indian Air Force wrapped up 64 EP-4 contracts valued at approximately Rs 8,137 crore. In terms of allocation, about Rs 1,300 crores were invested in 6-7 schemes for weapon systems.
- Another Rs 1,300 crore was distributed among 7-8 projects focusing on protective gear, while around Rs 1,500 crore was allocated to 9-10 schemes dedicated to Intelligence, Reconnaissance, and Surveillance.
