The Andaman and Nicobar Command conducted joint military exercises ‘KAVACH’ involving assets of the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard.
The weaponry and equipment of the Indian Army, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard were utilized by the soldiers participating in ‘EX-KAVACH.’
The primary objective of this joint service exercise was to enhance the coordination and joint warfighting capabilities of the various services.
Joint military exercise 'KAVACH' :-
The previous exercise was conducted in January 2021.
The exercise included various operations, such as amphibious assaults, maritime air assaults and maneuvers at sea, with the deployment of naval warships and various aircraft.
The exercise also focused on joint activities for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance.
The aim of the exercise was to validate India's capability to defend its island territories and conduct joint operations with synergy during real combat scenarios.
