India won the bronze medal in the Asia Mixed Team Badminton Championship 2023 held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates on 19 February 2023.
This was India's first medal at the Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championships. India lost 3–2 to China in the semi-finals.
In the decider, India's mixed doubles pair of Ishaan Bhatnagar and Tanisha Crasto went down 21- 17, 21-13 against Jiang Zhen Bang and Wei Yax as India lost the tie by a margin of 3-2.
In the Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championships 2023, India won all their matches in the group stage.
They then defeated Hong Kong, the bronze medalists of the previous edition, in the quarter-finals to earn a direct entry into the Sudirman Cup 2023, which will be held in China later this year.
