Bhuntar airport ranked 5th in customer satisfaction

The Kullu-Manali airport at Bhuntar in the district has made a quantum jump in the Customer Satisfaction Index 2022.
The airport has been ranked fifth in terms of facilities for passengers among 56 mid-level airports across the country with a passenger load of less than two million.
It was ranked 10th among 57 airports in the nation in 2021.
“The rankings were primarily based on the experience of passengers. Ranchi got the fifth rank in the country and the first rank in Eastern India,” said the director of Birsa Munda Airport, Vinod Sharma, adding that the airport authorities in Ranchi were continuously striving to provide a hassle-free experience to the passengers by ensuring that they get easy access to all the facilities they would ideally want at an airport.
