  • Shubman Gill has smashed a Virat Kohli record. Gill completed 1000 runs in just 19 innings.
  • He is the fastest Indian to the landmark, going past Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan who did it in 24 innings.
  • With this, 23-year-old Shubman Gill completed his thousand runs in ODI cricket.
  • The previous record was held by Ishan Kishan, who scored a double century in ODIs against Bangladesh at the age of 24 years and 145 days.
  • Indian captain, Rohit Sharma’s name is number three on this list. He scored an ODI double-century against Australia at the age of 26 years and 186 days.
