RRR bags Best Foreign Film and Best Song for Naatu Naatu

  • After the Golden Globe Awards, the film ‘Rise, Roar, Revolt’ ie ‘RRR’ directed by veteran film director SS Rajamouli has now won two categories at the 28th Critics’ Choice Awards, Best Foreign Language Film and ‘Best song’ for the ‘Naatu Naatu’ song.
  • ‘RRR’ competed with films like ‘All Quiet on the Western Front’, ‘Argentina 1985’, ‘Bardo’, ‘False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths’, ‘Close’ and ‘Decision to Leave’ in this category.
  • But beating all these films, ‘RRR’ has won the Critics’ Choice Award for Best Foreign Language Film.
  • On the other hand, Rian Johnson’s murder mystery Glass Onion: Knives Out won Best Comedy, and the Korean series Pachinko won Best Foreign Language series. Everything Everywhere All At Once bagged several awards as well.
