- ICICI Bank, the country’s second largest private sector bank, said that the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has approved the re-appointment of Sandeep Bakhshi as the bank’s managing director and chief executive officer (MD and CEO).
- In an exchange filing on September 11, the lender stated that the RBI had accepted the reappointment of Sandeep Bakhshi as the bank’s MD and CEO with effect from October 4, 2023 to October 3, 2026.
- Earlier, the board of directors of ICICI Bank accepted Bakhshi’s reappointment as the bank’s MD and CEO for another three years.
